The Augusta Lynx are officially returning to Augusta after 18 years! The city has been working to revive itself, and the Lynx will return to the ice in October 2027 at the new Augusta Arena. The community united to bring this dream back to life.

The Augusta Arena is set to open in late summer or fall 2027, bringing new prospects to the city. The Lynx will be a catalyst for upcoming developments. The arena will create 600 full-time jobs and open opportunities beyond sports.

The team is proudly owned by Tim Tebow and David Hodges and will be managed by Zawyer Sports and Entertainment. Saying they are in good hands is an understatement. Tim Tebow has dedicated over 15 years to community service.

There’s a lot to look forward to in Augusta, and this is just the beginning!
